HS01K Air Horn Systems for Mining Operations
For over 20 years, our custom Air Horn Systems have been the standard on most mining operations across the country. We supply directly to most major OEM’s and new machine dealers as well as working together with individual contractors, earthmovers and mining operations to supply directly to site. As licensed auto electricians we supply a complete install solution with custom length wiring harnesses made individually to each machine as well as providing all parts for a team on site to complete an install down to every last bolt, cable tie and bracket.
The HS01K System comprises a fully independent 24VDC compressed air system that provides compressed air to the HS001 Air Horn. Full wiring, pneumatic adapters are provided but most installs are relatively straight forward thanks to our experience in installing these systems over 20 years. We can offer installing in the Perth region but most of our customers choose to handle this themselves with our provided documentation. We only utilise components that have proven durability and reliability in the field to withstand the harsh conditions of Australian mining operations.
We ALWAYS maintain a fully stocked parts warehouse for immediate dispatch from Welshpool, WA and can help your maintenance coordinators with spare parts stocking strategies and service intervals.
The Air Horns Systems Australia HS01K kit consists of a high powered single tone Air Horn with a loudness of 140db @ 1m with a tone frequency of 311 +‐ 10 Hz. An oiless single cylinder, 24V powered air compressor which has been matched to a large capacity 16.0 litre air receiver tank which is custom made in Australia with our specifications to Australian Standard AS1210 and is classed as a AS4343 Hazard Level of E which means it does not need to be registered as a pressure vessel risk & does not need to be periodically inspected. However, a standard 1" inspection port is fitted to the tank to ensure compliance in all countries, states, regulatory bodies or company policies. Each Receiver tank has a Certificate of Plant Design Registration and a Hydrostatic Test report included. Kits are designed to exact indidivudal machine requirements for optimal working conditions & ease of install & maintenance. The unit is powered from the base equipment's 24V power supply. All electrical harnesses and the control module unit are protected by a circuit breaker that can be re‐set or a thermal fuse that is re‐settable. The air intake incorporates a replaceable spin‐on air filter. The fully sealed control module unit incorporates a: 'over‐run' protection timer set to five (5) minutes, and a 24V motor start solenoid. All the harness are made by ourselves as qualified Auto-Electricians and are braided to protect against friction & UV damage. All harnesses and our proprietary System Control Module utilise industry standard 'Deutsh' style connectors that are protected from dust and water ingress. The air receiver tank includes the following components: Pressure gauge, brass check valve as a primary backflow prevention in addition to the compressors check valve, a manually operated condensation mini ball valve with a drain hose that drains water away from the kit istallation area, a certified safety relief valve whcih is certified to AS1271-2003, a hi ‐low pressure switch to maintain a min air pressure of 70PSI & a max of 100PSI
